Paddy began Rock Climbing near his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario back in 1989.  After his first thrilling experience, the hook was set and there was no looking back.  Rock climbing became an all encompassing passion for Paddy and has made it an integral part of his lifestyle.  Bringing ordinary people to extraordinary places like guiding a 400 meter multi-pitch rock route on the East End of Mount Rundle (EEOR) just outside his backyard in Canmore is something very unique and incredibly rewarding.  Paddy enjoys all of the sub sports that Rock Climbing in the Canadian Rockies offers.  When not guiding he spends his free time putting up new Sport Climbs in the Canadian Rockies, Bouldering in new places and Rock Climbing Short, Sport and Multi-pitch routes on Yamnuska, EEOR and Ha - Ling Peak around the Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise area.  Paddy is a specialist in teaching rock climbing movement skills and guarantees rapid skill level development and improvement for all of his guests.  Paddy has numerous first ascents to his credit in the Rockies on routes graded up to hard 5.12 YDS.
